Le Quest condo at Bukit Batok to launch Phase 2 sales this weekend

Chinese developer Qingjian Realty reopened the showflat of Le Quest at Bukit Batok Avenue 8 for the Phase 2 preview on 12 May to an “enthusiastic market response”.

Phase 2 launch of Le Quest will be on this Saturday (19 May). The developer’s say buyers will have a choice of one- to four-bedroom units from 431 sq ft to 1,528 sq ft at the Phase 2 Launch.

“We had many visitors over the (last) weekend who were excited by how close Le Quest will be to the Tengah Park station on the upcoming Jurong Region Line (JRL). It is very encouraging, and we believe many more buyers in the market will turn their attention to Le Quest,” said Qingjian deputy general manager Yen Chong.

The upcoming seventh MRT line, Jurong Region Line, is expected to lift the fortunes of not just the properties in Jurong Lake District, but also the real estate in areas like Bukit Batok, Boon Lay and Choa Chu Kang. Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan in announcing details of the Jurong Region Line said that the new line will serve the western part of Singapore.

Jurong Region Line will connect residents in Choa Chu Kang, Boon Lay and the Tengah New Town, and will also connect the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the Jurong Industrial Estate and the new Jurong Innovation District.

Prices of the three- and four-bedders at Le Quest will start from $1.12 million and $1.49 million respectively. These prices are higher than initial launch prices of last August – which saw the three-bedders going at $900,000 and four-bedders from $1.38 million.

The prevailing positive real estate sentiments means that property prices this year will appreciate higher and faster. Alan Cheong, senior director of research & consultancy at Savills Singapore, said: “Indicative prices in this phase are competitive given the current market conditions.”

Le Quest Condominium is a 99 years leasehold mixed development by Chinese developer, QingJian Realty (BBR) Pte Ltd; a property developer for private residential units such as RiverParc Residence, Waterbay and Ecopolitan in Punggol, Bellewoods in Woodlands, Bellewaters in Sengkang, Visionaire in Sembawang and Inz Residence EC.
