The building’s design is actually inspired by New York’s historic Flatiron Building. Designed by JGP Architects, The Iveria features a similar wedge shape, but designed to have a more cosmopolitan and contemporary aesthetic.

And while most condominiums feature facilities such as a gym, Chang decided to do away with these features as most millennials (the target market for the property) already have gym memberships elsewhere.

Chang also emphasizes that though The Iveria is a luxury property, she wants it to be more accessible and affordable for her generation. The property is located at 2 Kim Yam Road, which is in District 9, a much coveted prime area in Singapore. The famous shopping center of the city state, Orchard Road, is a stone’s throw away; while 4 MRT stations are within the 1km radius that surrounds.

According to Chang, these features are similar to those used at the Ritz-Carlton Residences.

Wardrobes also feature glass panels customized and imported from Germany, while kitchens are equipped with appliances from Gaggenau – a top German brand. Quartz is also used on the countertops, while cabinets feature a metallic sheen.

While the property has done away with some common facilities, it does offer a parking space for each property owner, an infinity pool, as well as a gourmet dining pavilion.
