Strata-titled Commercial Spaces Up For Sale
With the bulk of commercial spaces owned by real estate investment trusts (REITs), which then lease them out, it is rare for a business to have a chance to own their own office space.
Thus businesses will be pleased to see the sale of the sixth floor of Peninsula Plaza with its prime location. Seated within Singapore’s civic district, it is only several minutes’ walk to the City Hall MRT interchange. Further it is 999-year-leasehold which is almost equivalent to freehold.
The 13,014 square feet (sq ft) office floor comprises four strata lots with areas between 602 sq ft to 5,263 sq ft, and will be selling at over S$32.5 million, or roughly S$2,500 per square foot (psf).
The expression of interest exercise will close on Sept 18 at 3pm.
On a separate note, five contiguous refurbished shophouses on Amoy Street, with a gross floor area (GFA) of about 27,000 sq ft, have also been rolled out for sale. However no guide price indications were provided. The expression of interest closes on Sept 24 at 3pm.
Other shophouses in South Bridge Road and Ann Siang area recently sold for average prices between S$2,300 psf over GFA to S$2,700 psf over GFA.
